Cutter, Drill, & Machine Inc. sells and services tapping equipment, repairs cutters, performs expert wet taps and linestops,and stocks all your pipeline material needs. The company traces its roots back 30 years. It started as Central Water Works. The name was changed in 1986 and incorporated as Cutter, Drill, & Machine Inc. This change reflected the company's emphasis on the manufacture and repair of pipeline tapping related equipment and tooling used by the water and gas distribution industry.

Today CDM has expanded to three divisions. Our goal is to provide the highest level of service possible to our customers while introducing them to innovative products and services as they become available to the industry.

The Tapping Equipment Manufacturing and Repair Department, our original department, is unequalled anywhere in the USA. We provide fast, affordable service for your tapping and line-stopping equipment, power drives, cutters and drill bits, saws, and air tools. All work is quoted and a 1-year warranty is offered on reconditioned equipment. We also sell a wide variety of new tapping equipment and tooling from several manufactures. The Pipeline Services division can provide wet taps from ¾" to 20", line-stops, and consulting services for tapping utility mains. We also provide emergency service to remove tapping equipment jammed in gas or water mains. Our tapping crew is fully equipped so that all your employees need to do is excavate the main. Your crew can do other work while the tap is being performed, resulting in additional savings. In addition to our tapping services, we also sell the machines you need for all your pipeline work.

Waterworks Supplies is our third division. Unlike our competitors, we do not just quote prices and take orders, but we provide insight on how to complete your project with new, innovative, and cost savings products.
